CE Level 2. What It Actually Means

CE Level 2 is the highest independent safety rating for motorcycle impact armor. It requires independent laboratory testing. The armor must absorb a minimum of 80% of impact energy across repeated strikes. CE Level 1 only requires 35%.

The armor in RoadArmor™ is independently certified to EN 1621-1:2012 by QCT Technology Testing Co., Ltd. Certification documentation is available on request.

    • Quality on a different level

"The quality is on a whole different level. Way more comfort, mobility and protection than other pants I've tried. Wore them straight off the bike to dinner. Nobody had a clue."

      Steve C. | Verified Customer

    • Finally ditched the jeans

"Rode in jeans for 35 years. Kept telling myself it'd never happen to me. These go on just as easy and nobody gives them a second look. Wish I’d switched a long time ago."

      Ron M. | Verified Customer

    • Hot weather problem, solved

"Tried three different riding pants over the years. All of them had me soaked through by noon. These breathe like nothing I've worn on the bike. Did a full summer day and got off feeling human."

      Gary T. | Verified Customer

    • No going back to leather

"Had a good pair of leather chaps for years. Hot, stiff, and a pain to deal with every stop. These go on in ten seconds and I'm cooler all day. Same protection, none of the hassle."

      James C. | Verified Customer

    • My knees thank me every ride

"Spent years in leather - stiff as a board by mile 100. These stretch with you, armor and all. Rode 400 miles last weekend and got off the bike feeling better than I have in years."

        FAQs

Is this a legitimate product or a scam?

Yes. RoadArmor™ pants carry independently tested and certified CE Level 2 armor - the same certification standard required across Europe for motorcycle protective equipment. That's not a marketing label. It's a tested standard. Every pair ships with the documentation to prove it.

Will they keep me cool in summer heat?

Built-in ventilation zippers open airflow where you need it most. The fabric is lightweight technical polyester - the same class used in military and tactical gear - so it breathes without sacrificing protection. Most riders tell us they run cooler in these than in leather or heavy denim.

How do I find my size? What if it's wrong?

Order your usual size. If you're between sizes, go up. If they don't fit right when they arrive, you've got 60 days to exchange for the correct size - free, no questions asked. There's no risk in trying.

What is CE Level 2 armor and why does it matter?

CE Level 2 is the highest impact protection rating for motorcycle riding gear under European safety standards. It means the armor has been independently tested to absorb and disperse impact forces beyond what CE Level 1 requires. Most "moto-style" fashion pants carry no certification at all. These do - and it's documented.

Are these really as protective as they claim?

The armor is independently certified by QCT Technology Testing Co., Ltd. to three separate CE standards - EN 1621-1:2012, EN 14404:2004, and EU Regulation 2016/425. That's not us saying they're protective. That's a third-party lab saying it. Regular jeans offer zero certified protection in a slide.

Can I wear them off the bike?

That's the point. They're cut to look like everyday cargo-style pants - no armor bulk, no reflective panels, nothing that gives them away. Riders wear them straight from the saddle to dinner, the hardware store, wherever. Nobody knows unless you tell them.

Do they fit over motorcycle boots?

Yes. The ankle openings are cut wide enough to pull over standard motorcycle boots without wrestling with them. Zip up, done. No bunching, no tucking.

        What's your guarantee?

60 days. Ride them hard. If they're not the best riding pants you've owned - for any reason - send them back for a full refund. No forms, no fine print, no questions. We back that up with a 1-year warranty on every pair. Either they're right for you, or you don't pay.
